Hello! This is AltEOS' official UTAU archive, where I host all data and of my UTAUs (released or not) in case anything happens.
All data found here is official and may override old websites or links. I try to keep this site up to date !This site focuses on the UTAUs under Nihilium Wave.The Chromoid Project and Haretsuloids are also a part of Nihilium Wave. Take them as sub-groups.

terms of use

These Terms of Use apply to all voicebanks under Nihilium Wave. Exceptions may exist for the subgroups, Haretsuloids and Chromoid Project.

commercial usage

  • To sell Original Songs, Remixes and other material that uses the Voicebanks, an official Commercial Usage license must be bought.

  • The following Voicebanks have strict prohibited Commercial Usage: Caché Völatta, Megumi Haretsu, Liam Haretsu, Ixel, Languore.

section 1 - allowed behavior

  • Creation of Original Songs and Covers is allowed.

  • Creation of adult content (gore, drugs, +18) is allowed as long as this content is not protrayed for positive propaganda regarding these topics.

  • Once distribution is finished, you can upload to services like UTAU Lost Media as long as the correct naming conventions and credit is given.

  • You can create fanworks (fanart, fansongs, fanfiction, cosplay...) as long as they follow the Terms of Use. This includes drawing the characters in different clothings, shipping and creation of Alternate Universes.

section 2 - prohibited behavior

  • Creation of Fanloids (derivative voices or designs) is prohibited since the 2nd of February, 2021.

  • Any content that promotes hatred towards individuals or groups of people, regardless of religion, ideologies, sexualities, etc... is completely prohibited.

  • Creation of AI related content, such as feeding AI with these artwork, voicebanks, or anything that uses them as source, is prohibited. More details in Section 3 (Miscellaneous).

  • The re-distribution of source files, may they be edited or under another name, is prohibited.

  • Using the artwork to trace/plagiarize designs is prohibited. However, using them as a reference is allowed.

  • Edition of source files (.wav, .png, any kind of asset found in the distribution of the website or voicebank files) is prohibited since 3rd of June, 2025.

  • Distribution of ports to other software. AltEOS does not make themselves responsible for the problems this may cause in any way.

section 3 - miscellaneous

  • Edition of WAV files is no longer allowed for ports or artificial voicebank creation (formats, languages). Ports to other software is still allowed for personal usage without distribution.

  • Usage of AI tools like DiffSinger or RVC is prohibited in any way, even if personal usage. The only exception is if AltEOS gives permission themselves.

  • To sell Original Songs or Remixes that use these Voicebanks, a Commercial Usage license is required.

  • If you are unsure wether any usage of voicebank or characters falls under any category, please contact AltEOS.

about Nihilium Wave / Affiliates

Q: What is Nihilium Wave?
A: Nihilium Wave (NW for short) is a group separate from other projects of AltEOS. The nature of such separation is private.Q: What is Haretsuloids?
A: It's a subgroup of Nihilium Wave, managed by different parts of the NW group.Q: What is the Chromoid Project?
A: It's a project made as a love letter to the old UTAU days. Around 2010. It was intended to be fully separate, unfortunately, it had to be grouped with NW.Q: What's going on with the old website?
A: We keep it as a temporary archive until we can finish fixing and re-uploading everything. When it's done, the old website will redirect here.Q: What is the Wiki? Aren't you using VocaDB/UTAU Wiki/UTAU Wiki 2.0?
A: It's part of the Chromoid Project. There is where we aim to expand on the voicebanks and their specific usage of each one.
About VocaDB and the other Wikis, our focus is to keep details at a bare minimum, so users can be aware that, indeed, the voicebanks exist. This is so we don't have to keep editing 100 pages for a single link.Q: Why does clicking the Download icons on the page drive me to ToyHouse?
A: You can count it as the official, always up-to-date profile site for the info of our UTAUs.

about Terms of Use

Q: Why are Nihilium Wave's Terms of Use different from Haretsuloids, Chromoid Project and other affiliates?
A: NW's ToU are very similar to AltEOS' personal UTAU ToU. The main difference is that AltEOS has no "avatarless" Voicebanks, thus making NW's ToU a bit more centered around these Voicebanks. Chromoid Project's ToU were almost the same as current NW's ToU.About the HaretsuLoids... In the past, info about them has been specific but confusing, and could lead to problems. By merging them with NW, our intent is to clarify and solidify the content that is allowed to be made with them.Q: Why is Commercial Usage suddently prohibited?
A: As you may have guessed, all of NW's UTAUs share the same voice provider (more on this below) and it is up to each one of the NW members to specify wether Commercial Usage is allowed or not.

voicebank/character related

Q: Why does some of the Voicebanks credit AltEOS as the VP, while others credit NW, Haretsuloids or even iXari3l?
A: As said above, the nature of the VP is the same body. However, the identity recording is different, and each Voicebank is attributed to follow the recorder's wishes.Q: Wich voicebanks are considered "mascotless"? Can I make my own interpretation of their mascot?
A: The "mascotless" voicebanks are AC, CHROMOID, Languore. Obviously, you can make your own interpretation.
Languore has a mascot, though it is heavily encouraged to make your own.
By the Chromoid Project's desires, CHROMOID is a voicebank you can take a bit more like Miku (in the way of having a default aspect, but you can make as many designs as you may need).Q: Is there any other voicebank you will be releasing?
A: Yes. Apart from the ones shown here, "NA" is a project that originated from the now difunct Naive Desla group.
There is also "Project Doppler", wich is not guaranteed- and related to it and our released UTAU Caché Völatta, "Matter" wich is meant to be his "partner voicebank". The possibility of re-recording and taking Caché Völatta out of beta is low, but not impossible.
"Project Supernova" is another one, wich may be switched back to AltEOS full ownership. There's also the possibility of "MW", wich is more long-term in comparison to the other voicebanks and is still unsure of the viability.Q: ... Will you actually release any of that or are you just saying codenames?
A: It's a long term project out of passion.Q: What is even the point if it's all the same VP? Won't all of them sound the same?
A: Each Voicebank has it's unique quirks. Some of them have specific purposes, like AC (reclist testing) or Languore (versatility of voice colors/appends). Others, are character-focused, being recorded as the identity wishes their character to be.
We give as much variety as we can, but as it is obvious, being so many will lead to the voicebanks having similar sounds. Please, be careful when using them together.Q: Do you even care about quality!?
A: Yes. We do. A lot, actually. It's the main reason you don't see 80 appends/languages for 20 different characters.
